(Al-Balad) 90 : 6
يَقُولُ أَهْلَكْتُ مَالًا لُبَدًا

He says: “I have squandered much wealth.”

The aimless Fujjar, who are the friends of Satan and the symbols of ungrateful ones like Pharaoh, Qaroon, Haman, Aboo Jahl, etc., say so. Since whatever they spend is not under the light of Adhikr, they will not get weight for their deeds on the Day of Judgment, as explained in verses 7: 8-9 and 18: 103-106. They spend their wealth for worldly gains, showboating, and vanity. But the one-in-a-thousand believer spends and utilises all his favours with the consciousness that on the Day of Judgement, about everything Allah has bestowed upon him will be questioned, as told in verse 102: 8. As explained in verses 7: 205-206, the believer, along with involving in the propagation of Adhikr to the entire mankind by mind, word, and deed – aiming to postpone the life of the universe – also engages in planting trees and organic farming for the welfare of the thousand communities of the Lord’s creatures. See explanation 6: 123-124 and 17: 58.
